Wetlands

Hello again from Winter Lakes. Yes, what was once dry, grassy meadows, and a almost non existent pond, we now have tons-o-water. Here are some before and after pictures.





Makes for a mucky mess for a bit. The creek is pretty high as well. When we had our big rain a few weeks ago, the water level came up several feet overnight.

We finally raked up our yard. Big trees make big leaf piles. I should have had the burn pile going that day....oh well.

Ana also lost her first tooth! She was very excited about it, but didn't work it very often, so the new tooth was coming in behind the old one before she had it pulled. I think she was afraid the last little bit hanging on the tooth would hurt too much to take it out.
